THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR EARLY AGE CHILDREN IN ACEH BESAR DISTRICT

ABSTRACT (Khairani) Education program for early age children is a very important program in improving the human resource to support the implementation of 0 - 6 year old children. The education for early age children is one of the efforts to improve the optimal intelligence of children called a golden age to improve their potential. The purpose of this research is to find out how far the program implementation of the education for early age children in the education program for early age children of Gina Putri, Al-Bayyinah, and Al-Iqlas in Aceh Besar district. This research uses qualitative approach. The techniques for data collection are observation, interview and documentation study. The subjects of this research are education program for early age children implementation head, Aceh Besar district education department head, and teaching staffs. The research results show that this program is not ideally implemented. For the curriculum, student management, and practical and interesting teaching methods in teaching learning process in the three institutions have been implemented. However, the task, fund, and materials division for teaching staffs are not well implemented. It is a very good chance to develop if the program implementers and institutions welcome the changes and advice from all parties. Therefore, the Aceh Besar district education department head is expected to take a serious attention to the program by increasing the training and discussion implementations for the program implementation head and teaching staffs so that the implementation of the education program for early age children can be improving as it should be.
