You can use these for the front flaps on the backpack if you like the title

I am ready to learn!

top flap on the backpack

Copy these flaps onto colored cardstock paper that coordinates with the main backpack.

bottom pocket of backpack

This is the main part of the backpack. Copy onto colored cardstock or scrapbooking paper. If you dont want the lined paper for underneath, copy two for each kid.

Fold and Put glue here. Adhere to back of the front flap of backpack

Directions 1. Copy the body of the backpack onto your choice of colored cardstock paper or scrapbook paper (or just white and have your kids color it themselves). If you want e back sheet to be lined, copy that template onto white paper. 2. Copy the flaps for the backpack onto colored cardstock that coordinates with the body of the backpack. 3. Cut out all pieces of the backpack 4. Glue the bottom pocket of the backpack onto the body

5. Glue the top flap on the top of the body. This part will hang over the top a little bit, that is ok! 6. After your students have written (or glued) their rules on the lined paper, have them fold on the dotted line and glue where it says glue here to the back of the front flap. (This way you can lift the front of the backpack up and read the rules inside! 7. I added a little ribbon for a handle. Decorate how you choose! The following page is included if you prefect to have your kids cut and paste the rules on rather than write them!
