Today, I am going to present about Faisal Mosque which is located in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad.

It is the largest mosque in Pakistan and South Asia and one of the largest mosques in the world. It is one of the most outstanding and modern Islamic architecture examples in the world. The Faisal Mosque is named after the late King Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia. It is the work of famous Turkish architect. Faisal Mosque is considered as the National Mosque of Pakistan. The interior of the prayer hall holds a very large chandelier. Its walls are decorated with beautiful patterns and calligraphy by the famous Pakistani artist Sadequain. When you are there, you will be amazed by its outstanding and modern architecture. Its a great mosque to visit because of its size, structure, and setting against the Margalla Hills which is the western most foothills of the Himalayas.
