Job Title : EHS - senior person (SM to DGM level) Location : Vadodara Desired Candidate Profile: The Candidate: - should be around 45 years of age with at least 15 years experience in EHS in a reputed medium to large scale Chemical Industry with additional qualification i.e. Diploma in Industrial Safety / Environment (approved under the Factory Act & Rules) - Should have good human relations and professional communication skills (verbal and written) and problem solving skills. Job Description: The Candidate will be responsible for: * Compliance of EHS regulation and developing and maintaining excellent EHS culture in the plant. Identifying Legal & Local Statutory Requirements regarding Environment, Health & Safety. e.g., ETP, Factory Act / Rules for Pressure vessels, Lift & Hoists, Lifting Machines & lifting tools and tackles. Coordination of various activities involving Health, Safety, Environment and Fire prevention and Emergency * Inspection of Plants (General Safety inspection, Preparation of Safe operating procedure, Moving Machineries inspection, PPE"s inspection, Housekeeping (5 S system) etc. * Evaluation of the existing fire protection systems and offering recommendations for improvement & implementation. * Onsite Emergency Response Plan updating. Conducting the On Site Mock emergency drill and Safety Committee meetings and follow up for implementation of action points. * Strict Compliance to Work Permit System (Hot work, vessel entry and work at height permits). * Investigation of Accident, Incident / Near misses, suggestions for improvement and record keeping. * Organizing Safety contests & Safety/Fire/Environment day/ week Celebration. * Coordinating for ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 activities * Providing training / workshops * Carrying out periodic internal safety audits and take up responsibility for implementation of corrective and preventive actions on audit findings. * Conduct HIRA, HAZOP, HAZAN
