SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT HIWAY 80 RESCUE MISSION

JUNE HUNGER GAMES YOUTH FOOD DRIVE
From June 1st through June 30th we are looking for youth groups to participate in a food drive. The youth groups will compete against other church youth groups. The youth groups will bring the collected foods to the mission and stock the pantry at the end of the contest. Hiway 80 will rent a Dunking booth for the group that collects the most food. The dunking Booth will be set up at the mission on July 13 (if this date conflicts with the winning groups schedule we can reschedule). The winning youths will get a ball for each can collected and get an opportunity to dunk their youth pastor. We are limiting the number of times one youth can dunk his pastor to 5. Hiway 80 will supply posters to put up or distribute at church Hiway 80 will supply letters to attach to bags to be left at doors for later pick up of food.

SPONSERSHIP FOR TIMBERLINE CAMP

We need individuals and/or groups to sponsor a child to go to Timberline Summer Camp from July 23-26. The total cost to send a child is $170. A deposit of $50 is needed by June 1st.

IN HOUSE SUMMER CAMP

We need volunteers ages 15-20 to commit a Monday, Tuesday, and Friday of one week (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) to come to Hiway 80 to work with the children at the Womens Shelter during our summer Camp programs. A group of 3 can volunteer with at least 1 in the group being age 18. You may volunteer for more than one week. Dates of the weeks will be: June, 11, 18, 25 and July 2, 9, and 16.

CAMP PROGRAM DIRECTOR
