BRIEF TITLE:

BRIEF 2.2: NORWICH PRINT ODYSSEY NOISE

Brief We have been asked to participate in the 2 week Norwich Print Odyssey screen print exhibition. Our brief is to produce screen-printed material in response to the concept/theme of NOISE. Ben McKean, Niall Hargrave, Sam Wallbank and Will Duffy will be producing their own designs to form a range of SixteenHT prints for the collective project. The designs are to work together through use of a colour palette. The concept of this is to investigate quick and interesting concepts/responses and to investigate and produce a range of print work. Use of non-digital print methods in producing original artwork prints is a must. Background / Considerations Creative exploration of the theme of Noise is essential for individual contribution to the group at the Book Fair. Expression of a good knowledge of printing processes and the application of nondigital printing is also a must. Mandatory Requirements All research and development should be recorded on Design Practice and Design Context blogs. Use of collective branding across the editioning of prints. A colour palette to unify the prints as a set. A3 format. Studio Deadline Module Deadline 30th May 2012 Deliverables Book Fair 1x A3 Screen printed & editioned poster

This brief should be read in conjunction with the module brief. Please refer to module information at E-STUDIO for module brief, submission deadline, graded outcomes and further reading.
