MARKET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT We forward to you the approximate cost estimate of the above project in the sum of Ninety-two Million, Two Hundred and Six Thousand, Four Hundred and Ninety Dollars, Fifty-six Cents (US$92,206,490.56) for your necessary action. Please note that the above estimate is based on the prevailing economic conditions in Ghana, as well as the Architectural, Structural design as well as Services design information available at the time. The following specifications were key determinant of the cost estimate; 6mm Gauge aluminium roofing sheet for all structures. Ordinary screed floor finishes for low rise and low status buildings. Unpolished porcelain floor tiles for high status buildings. Terrazzo floor finish for the other structures. Medium quality aluminium framed windows and doors for high status buildings. Aluminium framed louver carriers with louver blades for other structures. Metallic roller shutters are used for the stores and stalls. The total number of lifts considered is 19 and 2no. Escalators. Please see attached for the detail. The estimated total length of internal road network is 9 km.
