We need a safer Highway 63 so other families will not have to suffer the grief and the emptiness that losing someone you love in such a senseless way causes. March 21, 1983 - Nov 5, 2004 I need a safer Highway 63 because no one will ever be able to replace my Uncle Jerry, and I am tired of holding my breath anytime my dad travels up to Fort McMurray. (Carly Comeau, Edmonton) Oct 23, 1982 - MAY 14, 2002 Mark Baldwin lost his life on Highway 63 as he was driving south between Suncor and Fort McMurray, on his way home from work. He was 19 years old. Left to mourn his mother Kay Baldwin, brother Jody Baldwin, sister JoAnne Baldwin and a wide circle of family and friends in Coxs Cove, Newfoundland. (Jody Baldwin)

Justin Slade, born in Fort McMurray, killed on Highway 63 while returning home to Fort McMurray from a union meeting in edmonton. In memory of Justin, his parents
