    Darkness and Light Derric Saville Abt 1990 The other day I went, for a walk, from light to dark. A demarcation line distinct, there is no twilight here. A journey within this solitary world, where life fades to black, no one ever returns from darkness, yet I alone came back. The noose around my neck was taught, my name in Charon’s book been wrought, carved in marble, a stone, my name, yet the acid from the underworld erased it from the mortis list as I stepped from darkness back to light.
