PROCEDURE OF PCB
SN -
Up on admission , assigned staff nurse will explain to the patient about the hourly rounding indicating the reason to anticipate their needs, for safety and also delivery of good care for them.

All SN Should check all the 4 Ps hourly - Pain - Positioning - Personal needs - Possessions

CN
All charge nurses should make their rounding by the end of shift and to make sure also the assigned staff done his/her hourly rounds with the patients & documented in the form & she will counter sign the form.

HN ..
Head Nurses will have their unit rounds CNOCMO/ Asstnt CMO & Nursing Supervisor. She should be responsible to prepare the monthly summary of the rounds & should be send to the Nursing supervisor with fixed schedule.

NURSING SUP.
Monitor the practice, & will make the comprehensive summary report for trending & submit to CNO.
