What were learning
Our Bible stories for this week are Three Men in the Fiery Furnace and Daniel and Belshazzar. We will be reading Show Time and Do You Live in a Nest. We will begin reviewing our vowel sounds. Math will count money, review addition facts, and use pictures to represent numbers. We will focus on the letter z in handwriting. In Science we will continue learning about heat and light.

Thursday, May 24: Hymn 171 A Hymn of Glory Let Us Sing Spelling Test (Each child will create their own list of words.)

Here are some ways to challenge your child: Math Time how fast you can do your math facts. Christ Light Create a cartoon of the bible story Three Men in the Fiery Furnace.

Thank you for the wonderful Ascension service! How awesome to see our school children sharing the One most needed our Savior! A special thanks for volunteers able to help with the field trip! We have enough chaperones for both our mini track meet and aquatic center! Thank you for stepping in to help at such a busy time of the year! Our Mini Track meet is this Tuesday, May 22nd. Please make sure your child wears comfortable running shoes and clothes to school. Please send a disposable water bottle along as well. Thanks! Book orders are due May 23rd.
