ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR CLASSES Nursery VII

1. The application form is available at the school office from Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm on payment of Rs. 500/2. Interaction date and time will be allotted after the duly filled up form along with copy of Birth certificate (for classes I-VII, copy of previous class report card also) is submitted at the School office. 3. Please ensure that the application fulfills the eligibility criteria. For seeking admission to Nursery, the applicant should complete 2 years 10 months as of 1st June 2012. 4. The applicant (classes I-VII) is required to undergo a written test for a duration of 1 hrs (SubjectsEnglish, Hindi & Maths) 5. The written test shall be followed by a meeting with the Principal. The presence of both the parents would be greatly appreciated. The decision of the Principal will be final. 6. Documents to be submitted at the time of admission, after selection Nursery Class I Classes II - VII

1. Original Transfer Certificate duly attested by DEO 1. Copy of Birth Certificate 2. Attested copy of SC/ST/OBC (mandatory for inter-state transfer) 2. Copy of report card of the previous class with pass marks certificate, if applicable stating promoted to the next class 3. Copy of Birth Certificate 4. Attested copy of SC/ST/OBC certificate, if applicable 5. Kindly Note: Admission to the class sought shall be provisional in nature till the submission of above documents. 6. GENERAL INFORMATION
1. DPS Whitefield is a franchise of The DPS Society, New Delhi and is following CBSE syllabus. 2. There is no seamless transfer between the DPS Schools in Bangalore or in India, but preference is given to students coming from Delhi Public Schools. 3. The student teacher ratio in a class is; In Pre-primary : Two teachers to 38 students along with two maids .

Classes I to VII : One teacher to 38 students . 4. Classes I to VII will be definitely moving to the new campus (log on to www.dpswhitefield.com for location map) in the new academic year, though the pre primary classes will remain in the Borewell Road premises for the next academic year. 5. Timings of the school (Monday to Friday). Pre- primary : 8.30 am to 12.30 pm Classes I to VII : 8.30 am to 2.45 pm Office timings : 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
