Carbon farming

Opportunities for Tasmanian landholders

NRM North and NRM South present a free forum on understanding the opportunities presented by the Carbon Farming Initiative.
Ben Keogh, from Australian Carbon Traders, will explain the CFI and carbon farming in general, including the origins of the carbon tax and the CFI, eligible activities, likely returns, risks and opportunities. This three-hour interactive workshop represents a great opportunity to learn about the issues and gain a full understanding of what the new carbon economy means to Tasmanian land owners and managers.
