CULTURE

SUBCULTURE
A subculture is a group of people with a culture (whether distinct or hidden) which differentiates

them from the larger culture to which they belong. Subcultures can be distinctive because of the age, ethnicity, class, location, and/or gender of the members. The qualities that determine a subculture as distinct may be linguistic, aesthetic, religious, political, sexual, geographical, or a combination of factors.

Religious group
A religious group is a subgroup within a

religion that operates under a common name, tradition, and identity. Example of religious group are eastern orthodox, Anglicanism, and the many varieties of Protestantism or Restorationism

Ethnic groups
An ethnic group is a group of humans whose

members identify with each other, through a common heritage that is real or presumed. Ethnicity usually refers to collectives of related groups, having more to do with morphology, specifically skin color, rather than political boundaries.

CASTE
A caste is a combined social system of

occupation, endogamy, culture, social class, and political power. Although Indian society is often now associated with the word "caste", it was first used by the Portuguese to describe inherited class status in their own European society.

CREED.
A creed is a statement of beliefusually

religious beliefor faith often recited as part of a religious service.
