Introduction
The side event will address key issues in the outcome document for Rio + 20 and provide perspectives from developing countries and civil society on what needs to happen to ensure the future we want

Detailed programme

The speakers will focus on key issues in the negotiations within the contact of global and national challenges from the perspective of developing countries. It will address the achievement and challenges since the 1992 Rio summit and provide perspective on how to enable the achievement of sustainable development to ensure the future we want. Speakers will include MrMartin Khor, South Centre, Ms Chee Yoke Ling, Third World Network, Ms Lidy Nacpil,Jubelle South,Mr Vicente Yu, South Centre and Ms Meenakshi Raman, Third World Network
