Poetry Final Senior English This is not meant to be a hard final, but I want you to learn something new

(wowsounds just like something a teacher would say). The outcomes are to: Search poetry websites that are easily available to you on the internet Analyze and annotate a new poem using the methods we used in class Demonstrate the value of hearing the poem and the impact it has on the meaning and tone Connect a visual representation to the poem of your choice Learn to use Yodio and become more comfortable with a variety of technologies Demonstrate the use of QR Codes which have been discussed in class. Share your work with the community. I am proud of you guys and the work you do.

Requirements: 1. Look over the poetry websites given to you on the QR Codes and Poetry Worksheet 2. Select a poem you like and make it into a QR Code using QRstuff. 3. Copy it into the assignment box on Eddie. This is to practice making a QR code. 4. Print off the poem so you have a hard copy of it. 5. Read it through a number of times until you are comfortable with it. 6. Annotate the hard copy of the poem. This will be turned in. 7. Fill out the worksheet Mrs. Bigler gave you. This will be turned in either on Eddie or hard copy. 8. Break the poem into sections and find 3-4 pictures you think portray the poem. (Be sure to cite your source for each picture.) 9. Practice reading your poem out loud. Mark each section and indicate which picture goes with it. 10. Record your poem in Yodio. 11. Upload the pictures in Yodio. 12. Publish your Yodio. Watch it and make sure you are proud of it. Then copy your personal URL for it. 13. Use the personal URL for your final Yodio to make a QR Code using QRstuff. Print it off and TEST IT. If it works properly, you are ready to turn it in. I cant wait to see it.

Due Friday, 4/13. The QR code, the annotated poem, and the worksheet will all be turned in at this time.
