To Study the Initial Aspects of Summer Camp In Bhopalgarh

The summer camp has been launched in Block Bhopalgarh covering many villages, typically for a period of one and a half month, between the months of May and June, when the schools were closed for summer holidays (from 15 May to 30th June 2012). Volunteers mobilized all over Bhoalgarh and they trained by T.M.s of Pratham from 14th May to 16th May to carry out summer camp classes effectively, reaching approximately 875 children all over Bhopalgarh. Children were motivated to come to these camps through melas and volunteers of the villages. Pilot Study:A small study often done to assist the preparation of a larger, more comprehensive investigation. A pilot, or feasibility study, is a small experiment designed to test logistics and gather information prior to a larger study, in order to improve the latters quality and efficiency. A pilot study can reveal deficiencies in the design of a proposed experiment or procedure and these can then be addressed before time and resources are expended on large scale studies. About Summer Pilot Class:-

Summer pilot class in Bhopalgarh block was conducted by Raju Ram Bishonoi in government primary school , near Ramdevara in Jatiya Colony for 3 hours daily from 18 Feb. 2012 to 5 April 2012. Facts: Student strength was 25 to 30 children. All student were of word level in language and number level (10-99) in maths. All children were of age group of 9-14. Pilot class run for three hours daily. OBJECTIVES to run pilot class : To know the availability of children. To know the resources used in the summer camp. To know the availability of resources. To know the community participation. To know the success rate of summer camp. To know the interest of children.
