How to Submit an Application
The Canadian High Commission in Islamabad strongly suggests that applicants submit their applications
and passports using the courier services of Gerry's, FedEx or TCS. For a list of locations, visit:

It is not possible to submit applications in person, only persons who have an interview letter are admitted
inside the High Commission in Islamabad.

Payment of Fees
Consult the Instruction guide or the Fees section of our Web site to calculate your fees. Payment of
processing fees can be made with:
• a bank draft in Canadian dollars or;
• cash in Pakistani rupees.

Bank drafts must be made payable to “The Receiver General for Canada” and you must write your name
and address on the back. Make sure that you have sent the correct type of bank draft; otherwise, your
application will be returned to you.
Payments in rupees must be submitted directly at one of the designated Standard Chartered Bank branches
located in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot, and Faisalabad. Visit the
website of Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan for more information on how to find the branch nearest to you:

The bank will issue two receipts:
• a yellow copy for your records and,
• a green copy that you must submit to the Visa Section with your application.
Note: Only the green copy will be accepted as proof of payment. Do not enclose cash.

Other Requirements
For each applicant, you must submit a copy of the most current passport pages bearing name and picture.
