REPORT ON HEALTH ACTIVITIES
Health activities in our school started with the annual 1st quarter weighing in July. Children were weighed and identified their height. Nutritional status was identified. It was also the Nutrition Month. Nutrition month theme was . Activities included the following: Slogan-Making Contest, Poster-Making Contest, A1 child and Cooking Contest. A Culminating Program was held at the end of the month. Winners in the contests were also awarded. In August, The United Architects of the Philippines, Rinconada Chapter had their Annual Gift-Giving and Feeding. They gave additional school supplies to all the pupils and offered foods for supplementary feeding. Also in August, Intervida Philippines had their annual toothpastes and toothbrushes distribution. The pupils were given individual toothpastes and toothbrushes. Each class was also given a plastic box for their toothpastes and a toothbrush holder. Supplementary feedings were also conducted in each class throughout the school year. The class advisers schedule the feeding program. The Grades Six and Grade Three classes conducted their Supplementary Feeding Program compulsory especially during the time of the review classes for the National Achievement Test at the start of the month of February. In February, the district dentist, Dra. Valen F. Otares had her annual oral prophylaxis and check-up that marks the end of the health activities.
