Change a long-held opinion

When I was study in Chung Yuan Christian University, I have confused about my future. I dont know what to do after graduate, so at that time I thought I need to change something different by myself. After I make a decision, I decided to transform to different school and major. My parents worried about my future because I have already studied in college for four years. So this is a big change to me, but I know if I studied in English department, my pronunciation will improved, my writing will be better, even in the future I talk to foreigner and customers will be more confident than now. Its true, in most cases at least. I may assume Ill like or dislike something, but until I actually give it a chance, its just an assumption question. The most important is to challenge myself to try new things. Then, once Ive tried them, Ill write about my experience. Obviously Im not just starting to try new things, though, so Ill also write about things Ive already formed an opinion on. I think write something on the paper and put on the desk that every time I can see that, its very useful to warn myself to do it. To set some goal may make me know what else I can improve, what else I havent done yet. After I transform to Tamkang University something was changed around me. In the past, my father talked with the customer I always stayed behind him. Now I can chat with others, if I didnt change myself and I wont have this ability now. So if I dont try then I do not know what happen next.
