Recipient and Problem Statement

Mr. Diego Hernndez is a young musician and music teacher who is trying new techniques and methods to teach music to exceptional kids, specially, music script and how to play an instrument (piano or guitar). His classes are used as a therapy for this kind of students since they can learn how to express themselves through the music they really like. It has been demonstrated that these students have developed not only their musical talents; they also have improve their social skills and self-esteem. The most difficult challenge for Mr. Hernndez as a teacher is to be updated with all the new music that his students like because all of them enjoy different music genders and everyday there are new bands and songs that his students want to learn about. For this reason, we found necessary for Mr. Hernndez as a teacher, to have a database in which he can search for the song or artist, and find the lyric and at the same time to listen to the music of the song. In this way the teacher and the learner can follow the lyric of the song while they listen to it. Moreover it will help the teaching process given that the teacher will not spend time finding out about the song and artist in order to transmit the knowledge to the learner. We really think it is a paramount that this database can be connected to the Internet to

be updated everyday.
