Technicians Department of Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics

The Department of Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics provides support to the pharmaceutical, veterinary and chemical industries by investigating how their products are metabolised and distributed in test animals. A significant increase in workflow across the department has created a number of technician positions to support the Study Director teams managing this workflow. Studies within the department are conducted in both small and large animal species with radiolabelled and non-radiolabelled test items. You will be enthusiastic about developing a career in science and will have Highers in Maths and at least 1 science subject (Chemistry or Biology). Some laboratory experience and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel would be advantageous however, full training will be provided. You will be able to demonstrate a hardworking, can-do attitude as well as the ability to work well in a team.
