2012 2012 ECLIPSES

There will be four eclipses, (two Solar & two Lunar) during the year 2012 A.D: May 21: Annular Solar Eclipse (of the Sun). June 04: Partial lunar (of the Moon) Eclipse Nov 14: Total Solar (of the Sun) Eclipse. Nov 28: Penumbral Lunar (of the Moon) Eclipse Only Penumbral Lunar Eclipse is visible from Pakistan. The details of the eclipses are as follows: 1. Annular Solar (of the Sun) Eclipse on Monday The 21st May 2012 (Not Visible in Pakistan). An annular solar eclipse will be visible from Eastern Asia (Eastern China, Southern Japan, the North Pacific Ocean and the Western United States. A partial eclipse will be seen from much of North Eastern Asia, the Pacific and the Western 2/3 of North America. Eclipse begins 01:56 PST Annular Phase begins 03:07 PST Greatest eclipse 04:54 PST Annular Phase end 06:38 PST Eclipse end 07:49 PST Eclipse Magnitude = 0.94 Maximum duration of Annular Phase is 5m 42s 2. Partial Lunar (of the Moon) Eclipse on Monday, The 4th June 2012, (Not Visible in Pakistan). It will be visible from Western and Central parts of the Americas, the Pacific Ocean, Antarctica, Australia, Japan and Eastern Asia. Penumbral eclipse begins 13:48 PST Partial Eclipse begins 15:00 PST Greatest eclipse 16:03 PST Partial Eclipse ends 17:06 PST Penumbral eclipse ends 18:18 PST Penumbral Magnitude = 1.32 Umbral Magnitude = 0.37 3. Total Solar (Of The Sun) Eclipse On Wednesday The 14th November 2012 (Not Visible in Pakistan). Total Solar Eclipse will be visible from North Eastern Australia Southern Pacific Ocean. A partial Solar Eclipse will be seen from South Pacific Ocean, including Australia, New Zealand, Southern and South America. Eclipse begins 00:38 PST Total Phase begins 01:36 PST Greatest Eclipse 03:12 PST Total Phase ends 04:48 PST Eclipse ends 05:46 PST Magnitude = 1.05 Maximum duration of totality is 4m 6s 4. Penumbral Lunar (of The Moon) Eclipse on Wednesday The 28th November 2012 (Not Visible by naked eye). All phases will be visible from Alaska, Hawai, Australian, New Zealand Eastern Asia including Eastern half of Pakistan.
