Element Note Cards

1. Choose two elements from the list of 50. 2. Record the name of the element in the top left corner, and the symbol in the top right. 3. On the next series of lines, complete the following: Color and phase at STP: Name origin (and meaning): Symbol origin (and meaning): Discovery (who/when/where): Facts and uses (try and include any that tie in with its name or symbol origin):

Present your elements to the class and either show a picture of the element from the IPad, element book or the pass around the actual element from the metals cabinet.

5. Submit 1 multiple choice question for each of your elements to the instructor. Examples will be given in class for you to model.
