four different opportunities listed. For the last two years, a UPWP TC has attended The

Mark Your Calendar--Summer Retreat

Thank you to Paul Collins and his family for agreeing to host the 2009
Summer Retreat at their family camp on Conway Lake in Big Bay. The dates
are Monday and Tuesday, August 17-18, 2009, with the same schedule as
this past summer (arrive 10 am Mon. and leave about the same time Tues.)

Winter Sat. Sessions Summer Institute Info. More on Summer...

This Saturday, Jan. 10, is
the first of our four
Saturday Sessions. The
door to Gries Hall will be
propped open (please
leave it that way) as NMU
is not in session yet.
Other dates are Feb. 14,
April 11, and the SI Kick-
off on May 16.
A reminder of the change
in the SI fellowship.
Participants pay for 2
credits and can earn up to
5 paid by UPWP.
Start nominating your
colleagues and prompting
them to get started on
the paperwork.
Dates are not confirmed
yet, but continue watching
for the Advanced and Open
Institutes information.
Hopefully by the February
newsletter, more infor-
mation will be available.
Remember mini-grants will
be open in February also.
