For general anti coagulation: IV loading dose of 5,000 units and then inhibits thrombus 10,000 to 20,000 and clot subcutaneously formation followed by 8,00010,000 units every 8 hr or 15,000-20,000 blocking the units every 12 hr formation of prothrombin to thrombin

- Prevention and treatment of venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and peripheral arterial embolism.

- Contraindicated with hypersensitivity to heparin; severe thrombocytopenia; Uncontrolled bleeding; any patient who cannot be monitored regularly with blood coagulation tests; labor and immediate postpartum period. - Use cautiously with pregnancy.
