    The Albany County Sheriffs Office reports the arrests of a Latham Man on Drug charges. Elliot Vasquez, age 44, of 315 Colonie St. Latham NY was arrested for Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree D felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree A Misdemeanor. While Vasquez was being processed into the Albany County Correctional Facility for a Parole Violation, he was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle and a quantity of Heroin that was hidden in his sneaker. Vasquez was arranged in the Town of Colonie court by Judge Crummey and remanded back to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
