Somewhere under this night, when the world sleeps We were stranded, staring at the same stars Late mornings, when small hours and lullaby starts This restless night, it reached Meridian When I close my eyes to dream of you Christine As I surmise my tears for today Your goodnight whisper dries my erstwhile worries I've told you, if thoughts have wings I could have flown to you, if only to watch you Slip deeper into your slumber; I'll try catchin' That tangible smile, disappearin' unto a mirage The ageless time and meridian of the clock It knocks in me just to seek, Our invincible bond, it cannot be sheared We have spoken on moving thoughts We'd said we wanted to be near I've declared I care, 'twas my oath Wishin' I was a superman, by your window I'll peer Your fine face; Even distance I've fought It holds no shackle, I am sure This thing between us, my utmost pleasure
