    ASSIGNMENT 8 WRITING EXERCISES

    Refer to the Assessment criteria and write what you have learnt from the exercises you have done. Indicate the strengths you have acquired and the areas in which you need improvement. (Two paragraphs - 30 words each)

    Write your ideas on each of the following topics 150 words, 3 paragraphs each. At the start, write the thesis statement (the main sentence that connects the theme of the three paragraphs). Every paragraph should have its topic sentence with the controlling idea. Refer to the Assessment Criteria to ensure you practice all the aspects listed.

    1. Corporates today realize the importance of sustainable development so the demand for green managers, who can make profits in environmentally friendly ways, is on the rise. How can you be a green manager? 2. What are the pros and cons of the B.Y.O.D trend in business? 3. Cloud computing has made its presence felt in India. Explain the development. 4. A career crisis can be turned into a success story. Explain. 5. The Alumni Association of a B-School is a powerful business opportunity. Do you agree? Justify your view.
