Keene Community 125th Celebration Ways to Volunteer

We just want to thank you for any way you can volunteer to help this momentous event. It will take a team of people to make it a success! On July 29th our church ladies will be in charge of the noon meal for the celebration as a fundraiser. The meal will be a traditional Sunday dinner consisting of: Fried Chicken from Walmart Cheesy Potatoes Green Beans/Bacon Watermelon Slices Bun/Butter Below is a list of items or things that you can do to help make the dinner a success: - 12 roasters - Extension Cords - 8 five gallon drink containers - 40 or more watermelon (we need each family to supply 1 watermelon each) - Help make cheesy potatoes on July 28th at 8:00 a.m. - Open the Green Bean cans at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday the 29th and put in roasters - Take watermelon from church and put into stock tanks - Pick up stock tank at Tractor Supply in Kearney - Donate Ice (ice cream pails of frozen water or bags of ice) - Cut watermeon into slices - Serve fired chicken - Serve Cheesy Potatoes - Pick up chicken from Walmart - Serve Green Beans - Fill drink containers - Set up serving tables on Saturday - Put out buns and butter - Monetary Donations for chicken, cheesy potatoes, green beans, buns and butter - Load dinner items from the church and deliver to the Sunday dinner site

*Please make sure that if you are donating items that need to be returned to you, that they are clearly marked with your name.
