    Date:28thJune,2012 Gujarat Technological University is going to conduct ME Final Dissertation (Semester IV) vivo exam at various Seminar halls/Class Room at L.D. College of Engg., Ahmedabad from 9th July 2012 to 14th July 2012. For this exam the examiner will be called from Gujarat and out of Gujarat. For this ME Dissertation Phase-II vivo exam university has decided below mentioned norms: 1. Experts remuneration: Rs. 2,000/- per day. 2. Internal Supervisors Remuneration: Rs.350/- per day. 3. Refreshment and lunch for examiners, faculty and supporting staff will be managed at L.D. College of Engg., Ahmedabad through Catering Service. Hence DA will not be granted for the examiner Travel Allowance: (1) The Travelling allowance will be paid to the external experts coming from the Universities/ Institutes outside Gujarat at following rates : Airfare (Economy Class) OR 2 tier AC Railway fare Local transport, Hotel accommodation (Twin sharing basis) and Hospitality if required shall be provided by GTU. (2) Travelling allowance for the experts coming from other University/Institutes established within Gujarat: 2 tier AC Railway fare. If travelled by hired taxi (AC Indica or equivalent), as per actual bill and mileage amount. Hotel accommodation and local transport will be as per GTU norms if stay will be two or more than two day due to exam duty. (3) Travelling allowance for the internal supervisors of the GTU affiliated colleges will be paid as per following: 2 tier AC Railway fare. If travelled by own car or by hired taxi Road mileage @ Rs.5/- per km for petrol and Rs.4/per km for diesel car, limited to actual expense of travelling. RTO registration book required Hotel accommodation and local transport will be as per GTU norms if stay will be two or more than two day due to exam duty.
