    JOB STEWARD TRAINING FOR CCPOA MEMBERS


    Phase I (Labor) - & - Phase II (Legal) How do I file a grievance? What is a Policy Grievance? What's in the MOU? How does it affect me? When can they order me to bring in a Doctor's note? How do I file a "Class Action" Grievance? What is the Peace Officer Bill of Rights (POBR)? I've been served with Adverse Action. What should I do? What is a Skelly Hearing? If I go to Job Steward Training, do-I have to become a Job Steward? What does a Job Steward do?

    Attend the next CCPOA Job Steward Training and find out the answers to these, and many other questions. EVERYONE who is able to attend this training is encouraged to attend. The training is designed to increase your understanding of Peace Officer rights, and familiarize you with the Adverse Action process. PROTECTYOURSELF- KNOWYOUR RIGHTS! Current job stewards are encouraged to hone their skills!
