Student Art Show

February 2009

Rules:

• All Lynchburg and surrounding area students, private, public, or home school may
apply

• All exhibited entries must be original works by the artist. No “kit” or “craft
work” will be allowed.

• Delivery will be Friday, Jan 30th between 3-6pm and Saturday, Jan 31st from
10am – 2pm.

• All registrations are due no later then January 24th.

• Artist may submit up to 3 pieces each.

• Must be framed and ready to hang (wires must be on the back) Canvases can be
submitted unframed ONLY if the canvas wraps all the way around with no staples
showing and as long as the sides are painted as part of the artwork.

• Artist must attend reception on February 7th from 10:00 – 2:00 (unless other
arrangements have been made with Art -n- Soul Gallery. Artist is asked to bring
one plate of finger food to the reception.

• No nude or vulgar images are accepted.

• Artwork must stay at the gallery till the end of the show.

• Pick up date is February 28th between 2pm and 4pm unless other arrangements
have been made.

• Registrations must be signed by a Teacher if your school is submitting as a group

or by a parent if you are registering individually.
