LOUISE NEVELSON SCULPTURES

USING PREVIOUSLY USED DONATED MATERIALS- STUDENTS MAKE COLLAGE SCULPTURES IN THE STYLE OF LOUISE NEVLESON!

Students use recycled junk to create sculptures!

Its amazing how much stuff people throw away every day! Instead of lling up landlls with little odds and ends, people should consider donating their junk to a local art teacher or scrap supply place. Great art can be made from many different things, and assemblage sculptures are one of the easiest ways to utilize your scraps into pieces of art. Sculptures in the style of Louise Nevelson provide a great use for that stuff that would have been tossed!

STEP ONE: GATHER MATERIALS

STEP TWO: GLUE IT TOGETHER

WHEN THEY STARTED THE PROJECT, MANY STUDENTS WERE HESITANT ABOUT IT. THEY THOUGHT THAT WHAT THEY WERE MAKING LOOKED UGLY. WHEN THEY FINALLY FINISHED THEM AND THEY WERE PAINTED THEY WERE SURPRISED HOW WELL THEY CAME TOGETHER IN THE END.
