Date, Cranberry & Nut Granola

Ingredients 3 cups of traditional oats, cup of dried cranberries cup of dried dates (roughly cut) (you can add any other dried fruit if you like, eg. Apricots, saltana's, raisens) each of pecans, whole peanuts, macadamia's, silvered almonds cup of good butter cup of honey cinnamon

Directions Preheat oven to 180 Spread the oats out on an oven tray Stir the nuts in with the oats Place the honey and butter in a saucepan and melt over low heat. Stir in 1 tsp of cinnamon or to taste. Pour your liquid over the oats & nuts and stir thoroughly through Place in the oven and stir every 5 minutes until your oats are cooked to your liking, I cook mine for about 15 minutes stirring every 5 minutes. Once you have taken it out of the oven you can now stir through your dried fruit.
