Introduction University of Education, Lahore was established in 2002 in public sector as a center of excellence with specific focus on the discipline of education as the core knowledge area for continually improving teacher education and undertaking quality research and innovative classroom interventions. University of Education is a multi-campus university comprising of 10 campuses all over Punjab. University also has 34 government colleges for teacher education as affiliated institutions.
