SHERWOOD MERRYWALKERS MEETING MINUTES JULY, 2012 The Merrywalker's July meeting was held at the Target coffee

e shop on July 2nd, and called to order by president Jane Leider. Treasurer Mike Uyemura reported a checking account balance of $1,166.29, and a profit from the Cruisin' Sherwood walk of $191.80. A Merrywalker debit card will be used for some future purchases and bill payments. Jane reviewed plans for upcoming walks (PB & J in Wilsonville on 9/12 and the Soup Walk in Sherwood on 10/21). New school backpacks for children will be accepted at the PB & J walk and donated to the Sherwood Education Foundation. All walks have been posted on the AVA website. A drop box in the Cloud has been created so that Merrywalkers can share files between computers and easily keep maps, directions and other documents current. Jane reminded everyone to get train tickets soon if they plan to participate in the trip to Centralia on July 18th. Some discussion followed regarding the distribution and posting of information about club events and Volkswalking activities in surrounding communities.
