    Greetings Parents
    We have had a great year here at Pine Street Elementary School. We are excited about the success our Accelerated Reader Program. Many of our students have increased their AR level to 90% since the beginning of the year. We continue to ask for your support on behalf of Pine Street Elementary librarys media program. It is because of your support that students are excelling in reading. Throughout the year we have implemented many incentives to motivate our students to achieve their AR goal. These incentives are

    conducted throughout the year and students are awarded at the end of each nine weeks. Incentives are as followed:

    Literacy Night/Title 1 meeting 1st Thursday in May @ 6:30 pm Location: Pine Street Elementary Agenda: To review our schools Title 1 report for the school year. To review our Media Centers report for the school year and to review our Accelerated Reader program.

    15 AR points or more - one free ice

    cream during lunch 20 AR points or more - invitation to a pizza party 25 AR points or more - $10 gift card to Wal-Mart, picture taken and converted to a full size poster [poster will be displayed in hallway]
