Project Description:

As part of academic requirement for completing BBA degree the student of management sciences of MAJU are required to undergo 8 weeks of research or business project with an organization. Mostly this project takes 5 to 8 weeks. In this we are supposed to choose organization of our own choice to the choice of the supervisor. Tourism is travel for recreational, leisure or business purposes. The World Tourism Organization defines tourists as people "traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes".
The basic aim of our project is to collect all the relevant information related to tourism industry of Pakistan. Our focus during the project would be on the development of this industry, investment of government in this sector and the future of tourism industry. We will be getting help of both primary and secondary data to reach at a concrete conclusion

Objectives:
The objective of this project is not to criticize or cry over past mismanagement in Pakistan tourism. The main aim is to examine the flaws/problems/issues of existing tourism management system so as to plan a proper tourism management strategy, marketing plan and solve all those issues which are acting as a barrier in making a positive image of Pakistan Tourism.

Problem Area:
Problem areas according to Pakistan Tourism Development Cooperation are: 1. 2. 3. 4. Law and order, Securities perception Tourism infrastructure Communication infrastructure Lack of Marketing

Methodology:
We have collected data through two ways which includes, Primary Data: The data will be collected by visiting different places like (Islamabad, Murree, Thandiyani, Panja sharif, Hassan abdal etc). Interviews with foreigner and local visitors.Hotels visitlike PC Bhurban and many others where most of the people staying are foreigners.

Secondary Data: The relevant information will be calculated through internet, Pakistan tourism websites, newspapers, flyers, brochures, books etc.
