Following the 2012 Queensland State Election result and the ensuing defeat at the Brisbane City Council elections, the Queensland Labor Party now holds 25 of 155 elected representatives just over 16%) in the State across all three tiers of Government not including regional councilors . They say the Labor brand is nished and as a result progressive politics Queensland is in a genuine state of disarray. Were calling for a fresh perspective about the direction of left of centre politics in the Smart State.

Why we n d you voice

Queensland politics is at a crossroads. Either we can wait for things to swing back the other way, or we can push forward with an ambitious policy agenda entrenched in the ideals of a fair go.

We are gathering a compilation of opinion pieces to stimulate debate amongst young people in Queensland. Short, sharp and rich in evidence based policy, this aims to be something that you cant put down. Politics you can relate to.
