Fresh Wave 2012 - Local Competition Student Division Team of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Invitation

for Support/Sponsorship Marketing Proposal 21st June 2012 Dear Sir/Madam, We are the sole representative of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology () in the student division of Fresh Wave 2012 () Local Competition, organized by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council ( ). We are now seeking support and sponsorship, your companys support will be very important to our campaign. Fresh Wave Competition From 2005 to 2012, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council has been organizing the Fresh Wave Competition. It not only aims at promoting the development of short film creations in Hong Kong, but also to inspire local youth to become filmmakers. For 7 years, various Hong Kong Universities, Community Colleges and HKAPA ( ) has been sending teams to join this competition. Participating local films and other international short films will be screened in the cinema during the Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival. Last year, more than 50 works were screened in Yau Ma Tei Broadway Cinematheque (), including 30 works in the Local Competition Section. Various experienced filmmakers have been invited as mentors and provide professional ideas to the participating teams, including Fruit Chan (), Benny Chan (), Alex Law (), Herman Yau (), Mabel Cheung ().
