STEADFAST PRAYER To pray steadfastly is easy to say. To do it may be another matter. Sometimes lifes difficulties rain down upon us as bombs from the sky. Then we may feel torn to pieces and our desire to pray blasted away. Or we may feel as though things are going smoothly and our attention to constant prayer may ease. We may let up, like a sailor at the helm on a beautiful day, who feels so good he forgets the sea and the reefs. Whatever your situation, pray steadfastly, with thanksgiving. Ongoing problems require ongoing prayer. Deep challenges need deep prayer. Dont give up! Seemingly unanswered prayer doesnt mean God has forgotten you. Unanswered prayers mean we need to dig in and become quite serious and persistent in our prayers before the Lord. (Copied Dwight Sullivan) *Roger*

Our sports-themed series will teach how to be a Game Changer for the Kingdom of God. Just as there are pivotal moments or plays in every ball game that can swing the outcome, there are Game Changing moments in our lives that can result in great victories for God. Kids will learn that the Bible is full of game changing moments and that there will be many opportunities in their own life to make a play or to do something that will have a huge, positive impact on their life and the life of others. But it will take courage and confidence in God to make the big play.

_____________ OUR CONDOLENCES We send our love, sympathy and prayers to the family of Peggy Creech Smith. Peggy had a heart attack on Thursday evening and entered into her heavenly home. The visitation is at Mayes, Downtown from 1 3 today with the funeral at 3:00 and burial following. Please keep Bill, the children & grandchildren along with the Creech family in your prayers.
