PART 1

INTRODUCTION

1.0 Overview There is no love sincerer than the love of good food. Food is somewhat any substance consumes to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals. The substance is ingested by an organism and assimilated by the organism's cells in an effort to produce energy, maintain life, and stimulate growth. Cake is a form of bread or bread-like food. In its modern forms, it is typically a sweet and enriched baked dessert. In its oldest forms, cakes were normally fried breads or cheesecakes, and normally had a disk shape. Determining whether a given food should be classified as bread, cake, or pastry can be difficult. Modern cake, especially layer cakes, normally contain a combination of flour, sugar, eggs, and butter or oil, with some varieties also requiring liquid (typically milk or water) and leavening agents (such as yeast or baking powder). Flavorful ingredients like fruit pures, nuts, dried or candied fruit, or extracts are often added, and numerous substitutions for the primary ingredients are possible. Cakes are often filled with fruit preserves or dessert sauces (like pastry cream), iced with butter cream or other icings, and decorated with marzipan, piped borders or candied fruit. Cake is often the dessert of choice for meals at ceremonial occasions, particularly weddings, anniversaries, and birthdays. There are countless cake recipes; some are bread-like, some rich and elaborate, and many are centuries old. Cake making is no longer a complicated procedure; while at one time considerable labor went into cake making (particularly the whisking of egg foams), baking equipment and directions have been simplified that even the most amateur cook may bake a cake

1.1 Functions and Benefits Smart Flour Sifter (SFS) is a low cost machine that use to sift the flour for bake or cooking. It a truthful unique sifter machine that must be grabbed by every bakers and it is a must friendly machine appliances. Among of the benefits are SFS is made of standard components which are the ready components in the market. Ready components are components that are easy to get, cheap and easy to install. SFS is design to be as simple and light-weight. These promote easiness to the users. Portability is the main thing to be considered to be compared to other sifter machine is like plug and play device. It does need any efforts to assemble and disassemble whenever the user wants to move the SFS from one place to another. Ergonomics is the study of designing equipment and devices that SFS is ergonomically build because it fit the human body, its movements, and its cognitive abilities. And last but not least it is a simple machine appliances with no radiation emitted. It can be said that a market is the process in which the prices of goods and services are established. For a product to survive in the recent market there will be need to study on the market attributes, growth, needs and trends. These elements are vital so that product will highly request by the distributors.

2.3 Competition In recent market, there is such no product like SFS. Although our product is contemptible like other flour sifter machine but there is such a huge difference between SFS and other machine.

2.4 Macro Environments A broad macro trend that may affect success is that demographic factors which is listed at Page 6. This is because those variables are vital in order to plan for the product is launched and then sold. Money factors is the most considered because without no money, there will be no profit running.

2.5 Channels of Distributions SFS will be distributed at the supermarket, whole sale stores, and catalogue home appliances. For example; Giant, Tesco, Mydin, Econsave, Carrefour, Jusco, Metrojaya, Parkson and The Store. And for catalogue home appliances example is Cosway. This channels is merely suits the buyer.

MARKETING STRATEGY

3.0 Overview Marketing is the process by which companies create customer interest in products or services. It is used to identify the customer, to keep the customer, and to satisfy the customer. Strategy is a must in every action so that the action will keep availed and succeed. In business, marketing strategy is must be well defined so that the mission and vision of the company is right on track. Mission statement, marketing objectives, financial objectives, target markets, positioning statement and marketing mix or strategy will be detailed in this section. 3.1 Mission Statement Provide an alternative to people health and satisfaction in a courteous manner Our focus is to give people an alternative to defeat their problem with flour and expressed the satisfaction while they were eating. Satisfaction only can be achieved when they love the food. We are in the food and health business which we also configured someone health by giving healthy food to be consumes.

3.2 Marketing Objectives I. To introduce a low cost product than can satisfy the customers in the market. II. To change a perception of the usage of expensive flour sifter machine.

3.5 Positioning Statement For caterers who want to keep their cake and cooking at high quality, SFS excellently is the best alternative product to buy. Unlike others flour sifter machine, it is expensive and high maintenance.

3.6 Marketing Mix/Strategies Marketing mix is the combination of elements that make up the entire marketing process. It is important in order to pursuing the all four objectives. The marketing mix principles are controllable variables, which have to be carefully managed and must meet the needs of the defined target group. The marketing mix is a part of the organizations planning process and consists of analyzing the defined: 1) Product or Service Mix Smart Sifter Flour is the food that use to sift anything especially flour in order to get fine high quality flour and free from others mixture. This SFS has a rotary motor, a controllable motor in order to uniformly distribute the rotary energy and move the cover to sift the flour. A switch is mounted to make the user easily on and off the product prior to use. It is a must product in the kitchen to sift the flour.

2) Price

Price is always playing an important role in the market. Customer always looks and compared the product so that they can find the best one to buy. After calculating and re calculating, our product price is set to be 20% from the cost of assembling and producing the product. Table 3.6.2.1 is the segmentation price list of SFC.

This is the cost of producing one SFS for the model. For the production, the price list will be not the same as the components is buying through distributors in a bulk, so the price will be cheaper. Of course, affordability is we want to be concern about. In producing process, the price will be slighter 10% lesser than this. The selling price is ought to be 20% from the cost when producing process took place. So, the selling price is RM 91.99. It is more affordable than buying other flour sifter machine plus the it used a lot of energy compared to SFS. One year warranty is provided throughout the entire product.

3) Promotion Free Gift and One Year Warranty Gift are special cover to cover the SFS in order for it to become more protective and also fancy. This promotion only last for two month after the launching date. One year warranty is included via purchasing SFC. It covers one whole product except the free gift. Advertisement We will advertise our product in a way that we give local restaurants and hawkers a one-day free trial. Magazines and newspapers also help. We are thinking of a demonstration of our product at the listed supermarket mentioned before and also try to attend any food festival to promote our product. Sponsorship Sponsorship from foods outlet like McDonalds, Dominos, KFC or any local foods restaurants is needed. They can contribute some vouchers or any rebate after customers buying our product.

4) Distribution (Place) Distribution strategy is aimed at establishing a structured and controllable distribution system to ensure the product offered reaches the target customer. We are preferably using manufacturer to consumer method in order to win the customers heart first. ==================== Customer

This type of channel is called direct marketing channel or Channel One. It has no intermediary level and consists of a business selling directly to customers. It is being use because we build, install, service and consult the product itself.

This is only the beginning plan, after our product is well known, then we have to called distributors to distribute our products.

5) Marketing Research Recent, our efforts is to get feedback from our customers. If the demand of our product is good to keep our business roll, then our marketing plan is succeed. If not, feedback from the customers will have to urge us to do more deep research in order to market the SFS.

4.0 Overview It is absurd that financials is the main root of starting a business in the first place. It must be well-planned as it is crucial for a company to stand up strong just after it is been establish. Thus a financial plan is a series of steps which are carried out, or goals that are accomplished, which relate to a business's financial affairs.
