Truth about the date when Jesus Christ was born

1. 2.

If the Roman Catholic Church asserts that birth begins at the moment of conception And the Roman Catholic Church allocates Jesus Christ birth to be on December 25th

3.

Then if Jesus Christ was conceived... and then born on December 25th he would have Had to have been birthed on October 25th Therefore, if Jesus Christ was conceived on October 25th (in a 9 month gestation period) He logically, would have been born on July 25th [Not December 25th as alleged] Since the Roman Catholic Church celebrates the feast day of a Holy Person on the date of their death (not birth) And, Jesus Christ is universally accepted to be a Holy Person Then, Jesus Christ, in accord with Roman Catholic doctrine of celebrations of holy persons, had to have died on December 25th, in order to follow in line with the TRUTH of Roman Catholic doctrine as preached/instructed to the masses of followers Therefore, since the Roman Catholic Church celebrates the feast day of a Holy Person on the date of their death, the celebration of the holiday universally known as Christmas is actually the Roman Catholic Churchs celebration of Jesus Christs death. Not birth, as alleged -- since about 300 AD, or about 4000 yrs.

WHYdoes the Roman Catholic Church (symbolically) celebrate the

death of Jesus Christ yet promote it as His date of birth?
9. Alternatively, scholars speculate on the date of the birth date of Jesus Christ: A. The New Testament gives no date or year for Jesus birth. The earliest gospel St. Marks, written about 65 CE begins with the baptism of an adult Jesus. This suggests that the earliest Christians lacked interest in or knowledge of Jesus birth date.

B. The year of Jesus birth was determined by Dionysius Exiguus, a Scythian monk, abbot of a Roman monastery. His calculation went as follows: 1. In the Roman, pre-Christian era, years were counted from ab urbe condita (the founding of the City [Rome]). Thus 1 AUC signifies the year Rome was founded, 5 AUC signifies the 5th year of Romes reign, etc.

2. Dionysius received a tradition that the Roman emperor Augustus reigned 43 years, and was followed by the emperor Tiberius.

3.

Luke 3:1,23 indicates that when Jesus turned 30 years old, it was the 15th year of Tiberius reign.

4.

If Jesus was 30 years old in Tiberius reign, then he lived 15 years under Augustus (placing Jesus birth in Augustus 28th year of reign).

5.

Augustus took power in 727 AUC. Therefore, Dionysius put Jesus birth in 754 AUC.

6.

However, Luke 1:5 places Jesus birth in the days of Herod, and Herod died in 750 AUC four years before the year in which Dionysius places Jesus birth.

C. Joseph A. Fitzmyer Professor Emeritus of Biblical Studies at the Catholic University of America, member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission, and former president of the Catholic Biblical Association writing in the Catholic Churchs official commentary on the New Testament, writes about the date of Jesus birth, Though the year [of Jesus birth is not reckoned with certainty, the birth did not occur in AD 1. The Christian era, supposed to have its starting point in the year of Jesus birth, is based on a miscalculation introduced ca. 533 by Dionysius Exiguus.

D.

The DePascha Computus, an anonymous document believed to have been written in North Africa around 243 CE, placed Jesus birth on March 28. Clement, a

bishop of Alexandria (d. ca. 215 CE), thought Jesus was born on November 18. Based on historical records, Fitzmyer guesses that Jesus birth occurred on September 11, 3 BCE.

10.

Therefore, if The DePascha Computus asserts that Jesus Christ was born on March 28th Then, in following the Roman Catholic Church assertion that birth begins at the moment of conception, and Jesus Christ was born [i.e. conceived] on March 28th Jesus would have been birthed on December 28th [not December 25th]

11.

12.

If Clement, a bishop of Alexandria asserts that Jesus Christ was born on November 18

13.

Then, in following the Roman Catholic Church assertion that birth begins at the moment of conception, and Jesus Christ was born [i.e. conceived] on November 18th Jesus would have been birthed on August 18th

14.

If Fitzmyer guesses that Jesus birth occurred on September 11, 3 BCE

15. Then, in following the Roman Catholic Church assertion that birth begins at the moment of conception, and Jesus Christ was born [i.e. conceived] on September 11th then Jesus would have been birthed on June 11th
