Nahant and Micozzi Beach

On Tuesdays the Superstars Program travels to Nahant Beach to enjoy the summer sun. We also swim at Micozzi Beach on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Every Friday, join Superstars as we celebrate the end of the week. Next week we celebrate American Pride Day.

Friday Fun Celebrations

Brigid and Jeffs group had an awesome first week of camp! On Tuesday we went to the beach where Ricky loved jumping in the cold weather and Mark enjoyed digging in the sand. On Thursday everyone loved being at the Aquarium. Joey, got to see some incredible Penguins. Jeffrey, Marissa, and Brian all got to touch sharks and stingrays in the touch tank. We hope everyone has an awesome weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone next week.

Field Trip Thursdays

Every week we travel to a new location, such as Battleship Cove and Old Sturbridge Village. Next we go to Stage Fort Park.

Aloha Hawaiian Day

Nick, Stephan, and Beccas group had a fantastic first week despite some rainy weather. On Monday, Hayley and Nicole enjoyed playing kickball, and Sam liked playing psychiatrist. Tuesday the group traveled to Nahant Beach where Cory, Andrew, and Emily liked surfing the waves and playing pickle. Wednesday back at camp, Brook and Sean had fun playing cover the cones and Jesse and Madhu had a blast playing 4-square. Later in the day Roland and Shane enjoyed a game of knock out. Thursday the group went to the New England Aquarium and got to see a lot of cool fish and animals. Brendans favorite part was seeing the penguins. On Friday, our group did a great job dressing up for Hawaiian Beach Day! We hope to see everyone back later in the summer for more fun!

Superstars Swims at the New England Aquarium

Clyde and Meghans Group Clyde and Meghans group enjoyed the week under the sea. We made sea turtles and jellyfish, as well as our own aquariums. Ryan, Derek, and Ben enjoyed going to the beach on Tuesday and finding clams, snails, and sand dollars. Jakob and Zach enjoyed the whole aquarium and seeing all the different sea creatures. Molly, Connor, Josh, and Even loved petting sharks and rays in the touch tank. Peter loved the Hawaiian day activities. Clyde and Meghans group had a great week under the sea. Matt, Robbie, and Jeannes Group Matt, Robbie, and Jeannes group had a very exciting week. They did not let the rain stop them from having fun. Derek enjoyed playing kickball and Ryan liked 4-square. On Tuesday the group went to the beach and Stephanie and Nick liked playing in the water. On Thursday, the aquarium was a big hit. Jacob and Madison enjoyed touching the string rays and Kenyon and Max liked looking for sharks and turtles. Friday, we played games and Mikey dominated knockout. Joe and Ladd Joe and Ladds group had a great first week at Superstars. Steven OBrien had a blast playing rollerball. The group also had lots of fun playing kickball. Meghan had the longest kicks of the day. On Wednesday, the group went to Micozzi beach where Derek made some great catches in the water with the tennis ball. The field trip to the Aquarium was awesome. Ben and Jared loved seeing all the different fish. Fridays Hawaiian bash was a fun end to the week for the group. We hope everyone has a nice weekend. Finding Some Sun and Fun at Nahant Beach

Katie and Dans Group This week Katie and Dans group had a lot of fun. On Tuesday we went to the beach. Ryan, David, and Anthony had fun digging in the sand and playing Follow-the-Leader. Anish, Kiley and Charlie had fun jumping over the waves. Wednesday the group was back at the Vining. Brendan G. had a blast playing on the playground. Brendan B. and Sean enjoyed winning in knockout. On Thursday, we were off to the New England Aquarium. Charlie was excited to pet the sharks and rays. Owen liked seeing the sea turtle, Myrtle, and starfish. On Friday, the group had two winners as part of the Hawaiian Day celebrations. Kiley won the prize for Most Hawaiian Dance, while Owen was awarded the Most Hawaiian Costume. We hope everyone has a nice weekend and we will see you next week!

Sharks, Stingrays, and Turtlesoh My!

Emily and Zachs Group It was a great first week in Emily and Zachs group. We were excited to see several familiar faces and a lot of new ones too! We survived a rainy Monday and went to Nahant beach on Tuesday. The chilly weather did not stop Brendan and Savannah from enjoying the waves and taking part in a sand castle competition. The sun was shining at the Vining on Wednesday where we were outside having some fun in the sun. Lauren and Toni both enjoyed showing off their speed during cover the cones. Jaqui showed off her fancy footwork while playing soccer and Nolan worked on his jumpshot during basketball. Thursdays field trip to the New England Aquarium was definitely the highlight of the week. Tessa, Zara, and Ryan enjoyed touching sharks and rays in the touch tank. Jills favorite part was seeing the big octopus swim around. Also, Niloy and Julie loved seeing the penguins swimming and playing. Sriram enjoyed seeing the new sharks the aquarium. We hope everyone has a good week and we hope to see you soon.
