Blessed with an exceptional voice, Natalie Di Luccio believes in following her instincts. With an Italian background, this Toronto-born opera singer aims to bridge the gap between the East and West through her music. Natalie started learning classical music at the age of nine and has been a part of many musicals. Some of her theatre credits include Cosette in Les Misrables and Sour Kangaroo in Seussical: The Musical. Her passion for music made her join the Cardinal Carter Academy for Arts in Toronto. She studied at the renowned Schulich School of Music at McGill University, Montreal. While at McGill, she was chosen as the anthem singer for all sporting events. In 2008, she sang the Canadian and American national anthems at the first ever National Football League in Toronto. Natalie has a flair for languages and has sung in Italian, French, Sanskrit and Hindi. Her Bollywood journey began in January 2009 when she came to India and worked on a fusion album. It seems filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and actor Salman Khan have a hidden connection, which might be intentional from Anurag Kashyaps side at least. In Gangs of Wasseypur (GOW) 2, Kashyap has given an extensive reference to Khan. The look of the character of Definite, played by Zeishan nQuadri, who is also the script writer of the film, will captivate Khans Tere Naam hairstyle. His look is completely inspired by the Bollywood star. In fact, the character even mouths Sallus famous dialogue from Maine Pyaar Kiya. Earlier too, there has been speculation and questions in the media regarding Kashyap and Khans equation. Series of Bad Economic Reports Must Serve as Wakeup Call for Stephen Harper
A string of negative economic reports should jolt Prime Minister Stephen Harper out of his complacent approach to managing the economy, said Deputy Liberal Leader Ralph Goodale today. With the IMF downgrading growth forecasts in emerging economies like China and India, and the Bank of Canada reducing its growth forecast for Canada, it is clear that conditions have deteriorated since the Budget, said Mr. Goodale. If Mr. Harper does not pull his head out of the sand, Canadas mediocre economic performance, a nationwide skills and training shortage, and rising household debt could spell serious trouble for hard-pressed middle-class families. The Bank of Canada report shows that with the second worst export performance in the OECD, Canada continues to rely primarily on domestic demand for its growth. And with the government implementing an austerity budget, domestic demand is being driven largely by consumer spendinga lot of it on borrowed money. Since Stephen Harper became Prime Minister, household debt has grown 59% an increase of over $600 billion. Yesterday, a report from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants showed that nearly half of Canadians would be challenged to keep up with mortgage and debt payments following a significant due to the slowdown in Indias civil aircraft imports: many private airline companies were established in 2003 and their first phase of acquisition is now coming to an end. Kapil Dev back in BCCI fold after Pitch, not rash shots caused batting collapse: MS Dhoni sorting out differences
Former India captain Kapil Dev and the Indian cricket board buried the hatchet following their differences over the cricketer joining rebel ICL and welcomed him back with immediate effect disbursing his one-time benefit payment of Rs 1.5 crore. The BCCI issued a media release, moments after the 1983 World Cup winning captain met president N Srinivasan at the boards headquarters on Wednesday. The BCCI has received a letter from Mr. Kapil Dev, former India captain. Mr. Kapil Dev has informed the Board that he has resigned from the Essel Sports Private Limited / ICL. He has also stated in the letter that he has always supported the BCCI, and will continue to do so in the future. The BCCI acknowledges Mr Kapil Devs immense contribution to Indian cricket and looks forward to a fruitful association with him in the years to come, Srinivasan was quoted as saying by the release. A trade source reveals that the filmmakers are in talks with The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to work out the logistics to screen the film at the space station for astronaut Sunita Williams. SOS revolves around two warring Sardaar families and is the remake of Telugu film Maryada Ramanna. You would think, the makers are aping the famous Kabhi Kabhi dialogue. Then he continues with: Sorry yaar duniya bekaar bina Son Of Sardaar. This at least gives you a warning of what to expect next! The disappointing trailer becomes unbearable with notso-funny dialogues by Devgn. There are a few fight sequences as well, like one where Sanjay Dutt holds a guy upside-down and smashes half of him inside the ground (literally). The ladies of the film- Sonakshi Sinha and Juhi Chawla- do nothing to save the trailer. More on the film Devgn will romance Sinha for the first time, who will once again be seen in an Indian get-up. There are many small blood vessels very close to the surface. This is especially the case when you are pregnant! That is why during pregnancy you are at greater risk of allowing bacteria to enter your bloodstream. This can be harmful to both yourself and to your baby. 1. This bacteria in the blood can affect you in three ways. The bacteria can cause a very serious infection in the blood known as septicemia that is potentially fatal for both mother and baby. 2. The bacteria can lead to an increase in blood pressure which is detrimental to both mother and baby. Later in the pregnancy, it can lead to pre-eclampsia which affects 5-8 % of pregnant women. Preeclampsia and other blood pressure related disorders are leading causes of both maternal and infant death. 3. Recent studies show that poor dental health can lead to the release of hormonelike substances called prostoglandinswhich can lead to premature labour. This, in turn, leads to low birth weight and a host of other undesirable effects of premature delivery. Excellent oral hygiene is so important for the health of your teeth and gums, and is equally important for your overall well-being. No question of dating Ranbir Rockstar was offered to me again: Deepika first: Diana Penty
She loves him as a co-star and friend, but theres just no chance, says Deepika Padukone, of her ever getting back in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Riding high on the success of her recent hit, Cocktail, a confident Padukone, who broke up with Ranbir over allegations of his infidelity, says, We are back to being good friends, but there is no question of us dating again. I have a certain comfort level with Ranbir and there is no awkwardness owing to our split. If I was not comfortable with him, I wouldnt have signed a film opposite him, she says, referring to filmmaker Ayan Mukherjis Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, which stars the two. But what about rumours of them spending a lot of quality time bonding on the sets in Rajasthan and Manali? Yes, we spent time, but its only media that projected as if we were ever alone. Ayan and the other crew was always with us, she says. Talking about her red-hot bikini scene in Cocktail that got the crowds whistling Fans might have gone crazy over Diana Penty aka Meera of Cocktail but the 25-year-old model- turned-actor had zero confidence when she signed the movie. I met Imtiaz Ali (director of Rockstar) to discuss the role but soon after that Cocktail happened and I was signed for Meeras role, she says. Diana feels fortunate to make her debut with Cocktail as she went through the much needed grill. As I am not from
