E-06 and 04: The door is not lockable from inside. Have put a lot of complaints since we come back, no action has been taken yet. The carpenter has not even come for a single day. E-21: cupboard door broken. E-20,19 switchboard problem. E-24: Door latch problem. Many door hinges are loose. Curtain rods not available(E-110, E-104,E-105 ) . even the Aqua Guard filter is not working most of the time. Insects etc. also gets inside the filter because of the loose cover.

Many door hinges are loose. Water leaks through the walls of the room adjacent to the bathroom (E123) continuously. The walls of that room have become damped also due to the same reason. Moreover in many rooms the lock and the handle of the cupboards are broken. The carpenter has not replaced yet since the beginning of the semester. Also curtain rods are missing in a lot of rooms.The table is burnt and a latch on the door sourav.chatterjee@students.iiit. cannot be closed from inside(E-116). (room 299:almirah is broken and walls leak. room 305 : Chair to be repaired.; room 311: window glass is broken, most of the lights outside rooms are not working, Switches outside rooms are in horrible condition.; room 301: Door latch is loose (can break in future causing lock failure), The door of cupboard doesn't have a latch (it's open all the time), One of the window hook is loose (window might fall someday), desperately needed whitewashing and walls have cracks(informed the paint boy once, he noted but never came back).

Room 317 - inner latch has missing screws. Lights in alley outside - 320 and bathroom not working. Rooms have an outside switch to switch off lights of the room from outside. In most rooms this switch is not working/broken with wires dangerously coiled inside. Room 335 - Cupboard door broken.

Bathroom no. 4 door doesn't close, cloth hanger missing from bathroom 2 and 4

No lights in bathroom 1 and 2. Marble slab between urinal 1 and 2 broken. Drain of bathroom 1 gets blocked frequently. No hooks to hang clothes in bathroom 2. Door of bathroom 4 doesn't shut.

Few tubelights of the toilet are not working for months. Often atrocious condition is faced due to blocking of sewage and consequent overflow. Urine stagnates in the urinary. Few showers are broken or damaged. Few hinges of bathroom doors are jammed. There is no exhaust fan in the bathrooms leading to lack of airflow and smelly bathrooms. Pee of above floor comes in through exhaust fan.

Basin taps not working

Only one usable bathroom. Hanger to be fitted in 1st bathroom, repair work in 3rd bathroom. Exhaust fans in toilets, Urinals overflow very easily.

Rats are increasing becoming a nuisance . one bathroom and another toilet door never locks, too much insects, frogs and rats render the washroom useless, no showers working and urinals stagnate and exhaust fans not working propely

Since the rooms are on ground floor, there are lots of pests and insects. We could have pestiside treatment in the area near the mess and corridors. PS: We have often spotted HUGE rats around, we think that something should be done, esp since there were cases of rats being found in the mess last year.

Only one light in whole washroom is working , many complaints but no reaction (so nothing can be done in night ) . none of the bathrooms have showers working ,mugs in all cubicles need to be replaced (some don 't even have one ) .No hangers in bathroom . Urine stagnates in the urinary .We take bath in D-block bathrooms , the condition is pathetic . adding to that lots of rat . I don 't understand why ground floor rooms don 't have netted windows , once we open the window there is whole new definition of insects which strikes us . wish we guys attain at least a normal standard of living . Wardrobe door to be fixed. 96. Most of the bathroom doors are out of shape.one of the taps not working. Water purifier is not working. Some of the lights in the corridor does not work. One of the doors of the bathroom is broken, it needs immediate attention.

Third bathroom very dirty the western loo door needs to be repaired no showers in any bathroom, tiles need to be cleaned, no mirror in the 3rd wash basin, tiles broken in the 2nd toilet, 3rd bathroom completely damaged, sewage problem, the capacity of the mugs in toilets is less than that of the glass in mess, drainage end is located in the centre of the 3rd bathroom, there should be new tiles in every bathroom, main gate of the bathroom is too ugly needs to be cleaned, there should be odonil in every bathroom so that it doesn't smell bad. The door of BR1 is jam and BR2 doesn't have the handle so can't open it . Both of them requires a hard slam to close them and equal amount of thrust is required to open them. The latch of T3 jams sometimes. The doors of Bathrooms and Toilets are not of proper size.

No inside bolt in a bathroom, light not working in one bathroom , path light not working in bathroom, bathrooms are not cleaned properly , many spider webs and insects in bathroom.

No facility of geyser for hot water during winter. Unavailability of hot water during evenings when most of the players need it. Your Solar water heater is practically useless during monsoon and winters (the time when most people need it). Most of taps in the wash basins are old and of very poor design. They let off large amount of water because they now can't be set at a lower flux. This leads to the waste of a lot water. Exhausts missing in most of the bathrooms and toilets.
