The First day Of My College:

I remembered the day when I came to college to get admission with just a file consisting my admission papers & I have no idea of how college looks, whom to meet. Only someone from the college staff on my counseling day told me about the location of the college & how to reach there with an admonition that In path when you have to walk around1500 meters, there you will find monkeys, but dont worry they not harm you in a Formal tone. As I down the 4 vehicleed called traker I asked how much driver said eight. I gave him 10 and said keep the change, Oh brother can u tell me how much far is the college from here he pointed his finger towards the road nearly half km straight. I put down my bag near a big peepal tree and wait for someone so that I could be accompanied as I really feel scared of monkeys after when at the age of 12, monkeys chomps me.

Suddenly I see a car which is not clearly visible coming towards me as it took its turn towards the college. I swing my hand indicating towards the college for lift. The car stopped and the man with gold chain in his neck wearing black suit, curly short hairs nearly 40 year old sitting in the car in a pleasant tone asks where you want to go, boy I said to DBIT he said come on I sat in the front seat with him. He then asks me what is your name Rahul..Rahul Joshi I said. I come here for the admission in mechanical engineering course. At that I think he must be coming for his childs admission. Are you from the AIEEE.? What is your rank in a doubt full manner he asked. I said yes uncle, today I got this college in the AIEEE counseling with state ranking 1910.Is the branch in which you are going to come to for admission is your luck or your choice he asked not at all uncle this is my choice. The thing is I am very crazy about machines, also in counseling I was getting more better college than this but I want to take only mechanical which was stopped in dit at 1844 then there my cousin advise me to choose this college, hey we reached our destination as we reached there guards started saluting.

I was mesmerized I am coming here first and the person looking like to be coming here for his childrens admission that was appently looks like. Then in front of building he park off his car & said to the lady approaching towards us after seeing us hey Sonia, get this boy the admission form I balled over the wicket because he was the director general of the college DBIT as told by the lady. Then I wait in the reception hall and she handled me all the forms to be filled & signed by the director general who gave me lift. It takes 15 min to fill the forums & I said may I come in sir he said yes have you completed all the forums. Yes sir in a lowered tone I said. Now, your classes will be commencing after this week from 26 July. Okay thank you sir (in such a tone not audible to person next to me) and I leaved his chamber as sudden without saying a word. In such a manner I encountered the first day of my college. Then I went to home & told the whole incident to my mom and dad. This was the one of my most memorable events of my life where i have took a Lift from director general of my college.
