This website has the potential to be most helpful as it has excerpts from Admiral Yis War Diary, a firsthand account of what happened. The diary, of course has been translated from the original Korean for the convenience of people who read English. There are other parts of this site that may prove to be useful as well, such as the information on kobukson, which in English means Turtle Ship. Yes, I know its Wikipedia, but it has lots of valid (corresponding with other sites) information that could be useful for my research. It includes the construction and the structure, internal and external, of the ship as well as approximated numbers for the amount of people manning it. And it goes over some of the weapons that had been used on the turtle boats. Most important, it contains a photo of a line drawing of kobukson scanned directly from the collected works of Admiral Yi which is why it is a primary source. Secondary Sources Blue Cottage Taekwon-Do. Gup Patterns: Choong Moo. Blue Cottage Taekwon-Do. Blue Cottage Taekwon-Do, n/. Web. 19 Sept. 2011. <http://www.bluecottagetkd.com/.html>. This website includes the history behind the Taekwon-Do pattern called Chung-Moo as well as the pattern itself along with its interpretation. It also has pictures and diagrams of the kobukson. This is relevant because Taekwon-Do is where I first learned of Admiral Yi
