PROJECT EXPERIENCE Project #1 Project Size Duration Description: Now a days aluminum composite are playing a major role to develop new materials with enhanced properties. In this, Al-Ti was fabricated by using aluminum alloy (Al6061) as matrix and titanium powder (100mm) as reinforcing material. Various specimens of size 100 mm lengths, 12 mm diameter were fabricated. The aluminum alloy (Al6061) was heated up to 700 C to get molten aluminum and then titanium powder was added to the molten aluminum alloy to : Fabrication and Mechanical Behavior Of AL6061-Ti Metal Matrix Composites :4 : 6 Months.
